I have always said that 6 degrees of separation has now become 3 degrees and it was really exemplified today. I got a call from a NY friend that they wanted to introduce me to the fantastic bandleader of the Brooklyn Big Band and that we might collaborate on some projects together. His name is Craig Bailey and we set up a time to chat. He asked me about my background and I mentioned my time w/ Ray Charles he said “I was with Ray too, DIVA JONES!!” I could not believe this was the same Bailey from 10 yrs ago he was such a great pal and his nick name for me was” Diva Jones”. We Laughed and talked for hours. You never know what the universe has planed.
